Greta Valigi is an Italian fashion designer based in New York City and Miami.

Having graduated with honors at Parsons with a BFA Degree in Fashion Design in 2014, she has appeared in the FGI directory, was nominated for Designer of the Year, was awarded the CFDA+ certificate, and her collection was displayed at Saks Fifth Avenue.

In less than a decade, Greta has amassed invaluable hands-on experience in high-end textile and luxury handbag design, womenswear ready-to-wear, and accessories while working at Donna Karan and Ralph Lauren. Additionally, she has gained a thorough knowledge of fit and design for the women’s plus-size market at Lane Bryant.

She is regularly invited as a guest critic at Parsons for Junior and Senior classes and has also given talks and participated in interviews on the topic of size inclusivity in fashion. She is currently freelancing and consulting, loves to tutor fashion students, and is working on personal design projects.
